Hcg Supplies – What You Need To Get Started

Whether you take HCG by injections or homeopathic drops, the list of necessary HCG supplies you will need to start Dr. Simeons’ protocol remains quite short. With the drops, you need nothing else in order to administer the medication. The solution is already prepared, and a dropper is included.

However, HCG injections are a bit more complicated.

If You Go With The Injections
There are some advantages to HCG injections. The biggest advantage is that you will be using HCG under a doctor’s supervision. Therefore, in the highly unlikely event that you suffer an adverse reaction, which does happen in less than 1% of cases, the issue can be addressed quickly and safely.

Chances are that before a doctor will even agree to prescribe HCG for you, s/he will conduct a full physical exam and run some blood tests to make sure that all is well before you get started. If you are able to attend a licensed diet clinic, there’ll be people there who can prepare your meals and administer injections as well.

The downside is that this can all be rather expensive, and will not be covered by your health insurance. It is possible that a physician could prescribe it for you and send you home with the needed syringes and HCG solution. You could inject yourself as many diabetics do. It is still difficult, time consuming and not particularly comfortable (we know of few people who enjoy getting shots).

Keep in mind that you’ll have to mix the solution yourself – HCG injections come in a dry powdered form that needs to be mixed with sterile water in a sterile container. The syringes are another expense – you need to use a fresh one with every use, meaning that over a typical 40-day session, you’ll go through at least 120 of them.

HCG Drops and Food

HCG drops are extremely easy to use, and a little bit goes a very long way. You need only take less than half a milliliter per dose (15 drops is the recommended amount) three times a day. Just be certain that you do not swallow it directly, as stomach acids will destroy the active ingredient.

The other component is the proper foods – lean meats and vegetables, all of which should be organic.
