Treat Your Feet
How well do you treat your feet? Unfortunately, many of us abuse our feet by over-working or cramming them into shoes that are one of wrong size or fit badly.
Here are some basic foot care:
*Wash your feet daily. Rinse off soap and dry thoroughly, especially between the toes.
*Trim nails straight across and not too short. Don’t cut out or dig at corners.
*Ask your doctor before you trim, shave or use over-the-counter medications to dissolve corns or calluses.
*Wear clean, proper fitting cotton socks and change them daily.
*Wear shoes that fit! If you like stylish shoes, make sure they provide good support for your feet.
Sweaty feet?
*Wear shoes or sandals made of leather or canvas, avoid synthetics.
*Switch shoes daily if you have more than one pair.
*Use anti-fungal creams or powders on the advice of your pharmacist or doctor.
