dr pain the one you are seeing here is only 2 years experiments and acting like 20 years of experiments. theis surgery can make u chock with coffy and normal eating. it may help by 20% or make apnea wrost. cpap will not be an option after.
The Snoring Isn’t Sexy website encourages patients to discuss their experiences with CPAP, Dental Mouthpieces and Pillar procedure. Visit the “Patient Comments” section and rate your appliance, CPAP or surgical procedure’s effectiveness.
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER this surgury. It is so archaic. The surgeon cuts out the back of your throat. You need your uvula, it slows food and liquid as it travels down your throat, so you don’t choke. PLEASE, go see your dentist and inquire about a TAP appliance. They are a much better alternative to surgury or CPAP.
You need a CPAP.
This is a mask with a tube connected to a machine, which you wear while sleeping.
It blows air under pressure into your airways so it can’t collapse.
Go to a doctor.
He can send you for a sleep test in a sleep lab.
Only when you have sleep apnea bad enough they can prescribe you such mask.
You can not buy one on your own from a retailer (try Ebay, or other used stuff. Google “Used medical equipment”).
If you buy one yourself, you should educate yourself about the use, and settings of the machine.
There are enough forums on the internet about that matter.
I bought a CPAP myself also.
I couldn’t live without it anymore.
Some people love it, others just hate it.
