Help I Can’t Lose Weight And I Don’t Want To Fall For A Weight Loss Scam

Weight Loss Scams Or Just Negativity?

As I read the weight loss forums it seems everyone has an opinion on how to do lose weight and everyone is calling everyone else’s way a weight loss scam or unhealthy.  To make matters worse, desperate Internet marketers are flooding the Internet with articles promoting  certain weight loss products and using the term scam in the title to grab your attention—I promise this is not one of those.

But Help I Can’t Lose Weight?

Oh yea, back to the first part of your problem.  To be brutally honest, most of the diets out there will help you lose weight if you follow them but most of the diets out there rely on hype in order to attract peoples attention.  The hype can go from merely putting the best light on the product in the promotional materials to ignoring the unfavorable data reported about the diet.  I mean, who is going to print the flame they received about their product in the testimonial area of the website.  You need to examine the various diets available and choose one that fits your personality, lifestyle, and emotional needs.  This is how to successfully pick a winning diet rather than listening to the negativity on the forums or the happy hype of the diet vendors.

Still, Help I can’t lose weight

In the spirit of full disclosure I will tell you that I am an Internet marketer, but I really want to help people solve a problem and not just make money selling things to people that they don’t need and that won’t work.  Having said that, I also like to promote products and techniques that have worked for me.  You see I was fat and I too yelled into the darkness, “Help, I can’t Lose Weight.”  My problem was that I couldn’t stand the long periods away from my favorite foods.  I couldn’t stand feeling like a social outcast at friends and family gatherings, skulking around the corners of the celebration hoping no one would notice the lone lettuce leaf I was allowed to have that day.

Weight loss scam cop out

As I tried to lose weight with various diets I realized that they all were not weight loss scams, but that I was the one with the problem.  It was tempting to label something that I failed at or that didn’t agree with my narrow definition of “healthy weight loss” as a weight loss scam but that was just really a cop out.  I yelled “weight loss scam” and “help, I can’t lose weight” until I realized I needed to find a diet that would work with and for me.  I needed a diet that would give me a chance to succeed.  For Instance, if a diet calls for eating a lot of broccoli and I hate broccoli, I am finished even before I start and when I fail it is not really cool to just yell, “weight loss scam“.  Instead I need to find a diet that works with what I can do.

I can’t lose weight unless…

I made a list of things that I needed in a diet in order for it to work with me in losing weight and it went something like this…

1) I need to have a free food day once a week to keep from feeling trapped
2) I need to have little to no plateauing so I won’t get discouraged
3) I need to be able to eat normally during the holidays and special occasions
4) I need s support form where I can talk with others and get support

Surprisingly I found several diets that either came close or incorporated these things into their programs.

An Eat Every Other Day Diet Plan

An eat every other day diet plan is what worked for me.  There were two I looked at, the QOD Diet available on Amazon and the Every Other Day Diet.(EODD)  I chose the Every Other Day Diet because it didn’t require strict fasting, something I didn’t think I could do.  The Every Other Day Diet(EODD) had several other features that really helped me also.  No calorie counting it used the ultra SNAPP method instead.  This method makes dieting easy for people like me.  It insisted on having me eat lots of good food on feed days which made the fat burning days easy bearable and it had a support forum

Things That Showed That The EODD Was Not Among The Weight Loss Scams

The first thing I noticed was a 60 day money back guarantee.  8 Weeks!  I could use this diet for 8 weeks and if I didn’t like it I could get my money back.  The second thing I noticed was the support I received with this diet.  Weight loss scams are not interested in providing support.  The clincher was the results I got from this diet. 19 lbs. in the first 3 weeks.

Should you buy the EODD Diet?

Yes, in a way this article is promoting the EODD Diet, but only in the sense that if it fits your situation you should seriously look into it.  If not, then use the principles in this article to help you pick a diet program that will work with you to lose weight.

Go here to see if the EODD Diet is right for you!
