Healthy Weight Loss
In order to lose weight rather than starving, if we start eating healthy food we can not only lose weight but also get a healthy body. In order to have a healthy body we need several types of nutrients which include fats, proteins and calcium. There are many other important elements required for good health but if we stop eating and start starving ourselves just for lose weight we can destroy our health. Being smart does not mean that you become skinny and stop eating and destroy your health.
There are several kinds of foods available that easily fulfill the body requirements and also help us in reducing weight. One of the easiest ways to fulfill the body’s nutrient requirements is by having fruits and vegetables as along with filling up your stomach they leave no space for other unhealthy food. Many fruits and vegetables are rich in fiber that make them best snacks and similarly can be had with your meals.
You should try and quit food made with white flour. It includes white bread, cookies, cakes and pizza and replace with food made with brown flour like whole wheat bread, whole grain brown rice, millet and barley. Some foods with brown flour are high in fiber so such foods help to keep the stomach filled up for longer periods and control needs for more food.
Similarly, protein is another important element required in our body and it keeps your stomach filled for longer that help in weight losing. Many of us prefer to get protein from meat, chicken or fish that also contain a lot of fats which cause weight gain. If we replace animal protein with lean, different vegetables like beans and nuts to get enough proteins for our body we can keep our weight in control.
Drinking more and more water also helps you in losing weight as it makes you eat less.
If you drink water instead of cold drinks or artificially flavored drinks you can easily control your calorie intake everyday. Most of us just take and drink various cold drinks or juices from the markets just for fun or to enjoy the taste whereas these drinks can easily cause weight gain so if we stop drinking cold drinks and instead drink fresh lime, green tea or any unsweetened ice tea we can reduce our calorie intake and can help ourselves in reducing weight.
