It is believe to give you the look of a thick, natural looking hair without the trouble and inconvenience of wearing a traditional wig.
Lace Front Wig is a toupee or an hair extension that is made out of lace and human hair. A fine lace material is used as the base where individual hairs are meticulously hand tied onto the lace. The term “full lace” denotes that the base cap is made fully of lace while the “lace front” wigs have lace in front and different materials at the back of the cap. Lace front wigs are easy to manage and can be parted and styled at any way you want like into a bun or ponytail.
The biggest advantage of having a lace front wig is how simple and comfortable they are to wear. One would hardly notice that you are wearing one. It creates the illusion of having a natural hair. The lace that they are made of allows for air to move through them easily which prevents your head from overheating.
On the negative side, these wigs can be quite costly due to the thorough and meticulously way it was done. But just recently some manufacturers have begun selling synthetic fiber lace front wigs at a lower cost. But like any other regular wig, they don’t last very long and needs to be properly cared for and maintained.
