Demodex mites that live in facial hair follicles are also suspected to cause rosacea. These mites may clog the sebaceous glands in the face thus causing the redness of the skin color.
Scientists have also observed that Rosacea can develop if your family members have this condition in the first place. This means that rosacea might come because of your genetic imprint, allowing your skin to become red.
This includes exposure towards the sun, drinking alcohol, eating chili foods, stress, difficult physical exercise, drugs, and cosmetics. These include exposure to the sun, spicy foods, drinking hot beverages and alcohol, strenuous exercise, stress, anxiety, cold wind, strong cortisone creams, vasolidating drugs, perfumed cosmetics, among others.
