    Thank you Dr. Golomb! You broght to ligh the reason for another problem I am having…. something else wrong that is statin related.
    We are counting on you to bring awareness to the side effects we are having and to not be dismissed any longer.

    she gives statins too much credit, 30% reduction (.70) relative risk, is just a 1% decrease. 2 attacks instead of 3. This has never been shown to relate to the decrease in LDL. You can do better with folic acid.
    Also, saturated fat might increase both LDL and HDL the same amount but there is 3 or 4 times as much LDL so your ratio is improved
