I thought benzoyl peroxide worked better than salicylic acid at cleaning the skin. O___o

@donutmaster: Benzoyl peroxide is actually an antibiotic as well as a keratolytic used to treat acne and acne prone skin. It works differently than salicylic and glycolic acids that work by cleaning off dead skin cells. While benzoyl peroxide is sometimes put into cleansers for it’s anti acne effect, it is not a cleanser or cleansing ingredient.
